It’s a big day for Kevin Zegers, Woodstock’s homegrown actor: His new show, Rebel, premieres Thursday night on ABC and CTV.
Zegers, born and raised in the Friendly City, is a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic high school.He is best known for starring in Fear the Walking Dead, Transamerica, and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, among many other film credits.

Rebel is a drama based on the life of Erin Brockovich, the famous legal activist and advocate. Zegers will play the titular character’s oldest son.
Zegers has kept in touch with his Woodstock roots. Nearly a year ago, and just weeks into the first pandemic lockdown, Zegers filmed a video for the City of Woodstock, reminding people to stay safe.
“If we all do our part, we’ll all get through this together,” Zegers said.
