A chain attached to a vehicle ripped off a door at a business in the 100 block of Tancred Street.
Two display cases were smashed. Merchandise valued at about $430 was taken, police say.
Damage to the door is estimated at $5,600.
The theft happened on April 16.
Police found a male suspect a short time later, but he drove away at a high rate of speed, exited the vehicle and fled.
Cocaine, fentanyl, break-in tools and merchandise taken from the business were allegedly found in the vehicle.
Two suspects were arrested Wednesday.
John ‘David’ Jamieson, 43, of no fixed address, was charged with break and enter, mischief over $5,000, possession of break-in tools, disguise with intent, fleeing an officer, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property and two counts each possession of a controlled substance and suspended driving.
Christine Robb, 48, of East Street, was charged with break and enter, mischief over $5,000, possession of break-in tools, disguise with intent and public mischief.
Her court date is May 27.
